We are now collecting orders for an ICH & Blizzard winter apparel order. We have added a few new items this year including a dri-fit shirt and an embroidered stocking cap, so be sure to check them out!
Orders and payment are DUE Mon 11/30 so items can be ready by Christmas. (Kayle McKay, Lisa Mascardo and Tina Riggan will be collecting orders at practices.)
The Pee Wee, Bantam and Squirt players should plan to attend skills sessions at Coral Ridge Ice Arena in October. The Pee Wee and Bantam teams will be practicing October 12 and October 19th from 7:30-8:30 p.m. The Squirts will have a required skills session/evaluation on October 26 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. The cost will be $7.50 per player, made payable to the rink on the night of the session.
The Iowa homecoming parade is fast approaching, and as always, we will have an ICH entry. The date is Friday Oct. 9th. Line up is between 3:30-5pm. Pizza will be served around 5:00. Parade starts at 5:45. Kids can roller blade or walk. If roller blading, helmets MUST be worn. Parents are needed to walk as well. We will bring hockey jerseys for players to wear. ICH will not be providing candy, but you are welcome to bring candy to hand out to the crowd. Please email tina.riggan@iowacityhockey.org if your family will be attending. 1 volunteer credit will be awarded if player and family members are present.
